IPSR Talent Genie, which was launched in 2009 is a student- learning and win program for the benefit of students all over Kerala Campuses. The program envisions identifying the real IT talents in our campuses and to groom them as true professionals good both for our nation and for the entire humanity.
The final phase of Talent Genie 2011 was held at IPSR Trivandrum branch on 3rd Sept 2011. The function which started at 3pm was a great success with the presents of our chief guest Mr. K.C.C.Nair (CEO, Incubation center, Techno park Trivandrum), respected personalities like Mr. N.T.Nair (the Chief Editor, Executive Knowledge Lines English monthly), Mr. P.Vijayachandran, The Former Chairman & Managing Director (CEO) of XStream Software, and the Former Managing Director of KTDC etc., Mr. Sukumaran Nair (the head of the placements Lourde matha college of engineering), Dr. Mendus Jacob (MD & CEO, ipsr solutions ltd. Director, MCA Programme, Marian College Kuttikanam)etc,.
The competition was held as Talent Genie Senior and Talent Genie Junior respectively, for the final ceremony we had twenty candidates who were selected from a group of total 1500 students approximately from different colleges through various rounds that analyzed their talents that included Seminars, tests, public speaking, stress interviews, group discussions ,etc,.
In Talent Genie Senior Mr. Donny Thomas Kurien from A W H College of Engineering, Calicut won the first prize worth Rs.1 Lakh. Mr.Sethu Manuel from Carmel College of Engineering and Mr.Ramsi Muhammed KP from M E S College, Marampally won second (Rs.50000/-) and third prize (RS.25000/-) respectively.
In Talent Genie Junior Ms.Jilu Joseph from B V M College Cherpunkal won the first prize worth (Rs.50000/-). Mr.Vipin G S from College of Applied Science, Kundara and Mr.Nijo Joseph Raju from Marian College, Kuttikanam won second (Rs.25000/-) and third prize (Rs.15000/-) respectively.
The consolation prizes goes to Mr.Santhosh Kumar.M (College of Engineering Poonjar), Mr.Joel P Joseph(M A College Ramapuram), Ms.Anju R (STAS,Edapally), Ms. Elsa Manjooran(Carmel College of Engineering), Mr.Sainvdheeen KA (M E S College, Marampally), Arun Krishnan.M (College of Applied Science,Vazhakkad), Ms.Anju S (Marian College, Kuttikanam),

DONNY THOMAS KURIEN the Talent Genie Senior -2011 completed his B Tech in Information Technology from AWH Engineering College, Kuttikattoor, Calicut in 2011, he was Selected as prefect during both SSLC and Plus Two is the best all-rounder (best student) of AWH Engineering College, he Secured first places in various musical competitions and elocution competitions and Got placed in Infosys Technologies and CSS Corp. he is also good at some other extra curricular activities like Playing piano, guitar, mouth organ and drums, singing, Drawing and painting, Debating, Teaching and preaching etc
Mr.Sethu Manuel, who achieved second position in IPSR Talent Genie Senior 2011, completed B-Tech from Carmel College of Engineering.Sethu is a Red Hat Certified Engineer and he completed the certification along with his campus studies. He is currently working with Poonam Infovision, Kochi.He played a key role in developing a Placement Cell in his college, thereby creating an opportunity for his friends also to get placed.
Mr.Ramsi Muhammed KP who achieved third position in IPSR Talent Genie Senior -2011, completed MCA from M E S College, Marampally.His Vision is to lead a professionally managed Corporate Sector.He was selected as NCC RDC cadet (2007) and in the same year he got the opportunity to meet Indian & Russian President, which he believes to be his best achievement.He was also selected as the Best Cadet in Karnataka&Goa region in 2007.
Ms.Jilu Joseph, IPSR Talent Genie Junior -2011 completed BCA from BVM Holy Cross College, Cherpunkal, with 1st rank for BCA from MG University (2011). She was elected as the secretary of Association of Computer students in 2009, elected to represent the college in a 3 day leadership camp conducted in pastrol Institute, Palai and also Secured prizes for different competitions.
Mr.Vipin G S who achieved second position in IPSR Talent Genie Junior -2011, completed BCA from College of Applied Science, Kundara .He was the college Union Chairman, during his last year of study and was very active in conducting information oriented programs in his college. He developed a Social Networking Site as a Mini Academic Project. Vipin is an enthusiastic person who wants to start a Company of his own.
Mr.Nijo Joseph Raju who achieved third position in IPSR Talent Genie Junior -2011 completed BCA from Marian College, Kuttikanam in 2011. He is the winner of debate competitions. (District level), Was the captain of N.S.S team at Secondary level, Team leader & coordinator of many student group and programs in collage, Winner of elocution competitions (Secondary level), Secretary of Youth association in church. And Coordinator of BCA Dept. Fest-NAVIGATOR-2010 conducted by MACS association of Marian College, Kuttikkanam.
