Microsoft with huge requirement of Linux professionals

Gone are the days when Microsoft was at war with Linux and the whole of free and open-source software movement. The tech giant now has narrowly slimmed down the rivalry, outstanding against Linux, the most successful competitor to windows. Mr. Satya Nadella, CEO, Microsoft and Mr. Mark Russinovich, CTO of Microsoft Azure have endorsed this sensational remark “Microsoft loves Linux” on the changed outlook of Microsoft to Linux in many occasions.

 Addressing a conference at Raleigh, North Carolina, Mr. Mark Russinovich remarked that “If you’re a Linux or open source developer, Microsoft wants to work with you, and maybe even hire you.” Also he added to 1,700 person crowd of open source and Linux coders assembled there to “Pass your resumes up,” that there are nearly about 500 job openings... Placement orientation program for RHCE Candidates

IPSR is happy to inform you that, a placement boom is happening for RHCE students. Many of our client companies are in need of right candidates. Considering the requirements of our 9 client companies; we are organizing a one day Placement Orientation Programme & Screening Test for RHCE Students. The aim of this programme is to equip students to face recruitment drives and to enhance their chances of getting placed. Screened candidates will be directly scheduled for company interviews in coming days. Please make use of this excellent opportunity.

Linux Orientation Workshop from IPSR

The one day Placement Orientation Program organized by IPSR for its RHCE students proved to be quite valuable. The program also included screening tests for placement into 6 companies.

The program was conducted on two days, 6th January at IPSR, Kottayam and 10th January at IPSR, Calicut. 46 RHCE candidates from IPSR, Kottayam and Kochi participated in the program on the first day and more than 20 candidates on the second day at IPSR Calicut.


The program was divided into 3 sessions.

1. An HR session, focusing on the soft skill requirements for ensuring better performance in HR rounds
2. Technical Training Session and Interview Tips.
3. Screening Test for 6 companies


Candidates shortlisted from the screening tests will be scheduled for company interviews in the coming days.
